The Great Emulation

You are seen father.
You are heard and held.
You are held mother.
You are seen and heard.
King and Queen,
your love between,
is laying down the emulations.
Your whispered unloved lives,
we’ve given them flight.
The chains and whips that drove us,
have dissolved into light.
Our emulations Rest In Peace,
gifting us free life.
I do not have to be,
what you were unable to.
Your love for me will still be there.
I don’t need to save you.
Your pains and sorrow,
that I have carried like a jewel,
It’s time to lay that burden down,
and let my life rule.
I see you on that hilltop,
aglow in your joy.
Bidding me farewell,
your little golden boy.
Counting on my courage
to live free and whole.
Trusting in my resolve,
In making diamonds from our coal.
Although you’re always with me,
today we lay your sorrows down.
We start anew our journey,
on our unchartered course.
Your whispered unloved lives,
we’ve given them flight.
The chains and whips that drove us,
have dissolved into light.
Our emulations Rest In Peace,
gifting us free life.
You are seen father.
You are heard and held.
You are held mother.
You are seen and heard.
You are fully cared for now,
you are safe and cherished.
You are fully loved now,
aglow in your joy.
Goodbye
and hello,
your little golden boy.
